Ryan Haines

Ryan Oliver Haines is a native of South Florida. He went to Boca High and graduated in 1996. He worked for Midnight Express powerboats from 1999-2006 and then for Intrepid Powerboats from 2006-2008. In 2009, Ryan jointed US Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations (AMO) from 2009-present.

Among AMO’s many missions are anti-terrorism, countering smuggling, and stopping illegal immigration. The agency uses its aviation and marine assets to detect, interdict, and apprehend conveyances carrying terrorists, contraband, or undocumented aliens intending to enter the United States illegally.

Ryan summarized the duties that the Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations (AMO) have and then told stories of interesting interdictions in which he has participated including apprehending the same person multiple times, finding people stuffed into boats that resulted in their lives being saved, and shooting over the bow fleeing vessels to get them to stop running away. We all extend gratitude to Ryan and his fellow Marine Interdiction Agents.

In his spare time, Ryan also owns RKH Yachts, a yacht brokerage firm here in Boca Raton. Ryan is the proud husband of Kandace Haines and father to Colton and Adaline.
