Vice President and General Manager, JM Lexus
Jim was born on January 23, 1950 in Chicago Heights, Illinois, where he grew up and attended Prairie State College.
Jim’s journey in the automobile business began in 1972 as a Finance & Insurance Manager and desk Manager for the best dealership in Chicago Heights — Yanson Chevrolet. From there Jim went on to hold General Sales Manager and General Manager positions at dealerships in Indianapolis, Ind., Harrisburg, Pa. and Joliet, Ill. before moving to Naples, Fl. in 1988 to run Germain Lincoln-Mercury and Toyota. In 1998 Jim accepted an offer to run Hollywood Pontiac-GMC in Hollywood, Fl. Nine months later, he was asked to run Toyota of Hollywood, owned by the same family. During this time, he was also the General Manager of their Pines Pontiac/GMC/Buick store before moving to Brandon, Fl. with Courtesy Automotive Group’s Toyota, KIA & Lincoln-Mercury stores.
Over the years, Jim became familiar with JM Lexus’ outstanding reputation and the dealership’s tradition of being the #1 Lexus Dealership in the World in Sales and being Elite in customer satisfaction. On August 8, 2005 Jim accepted the position of Vice President & General Manager of JM Lexus and as such, is responsible for all JM Lexus operations, including new and pre-owned car sales and service operations. At the largest volume Lexus dealership in the world, Jim leads a team of associates who are focused on innovation and consistently looking for ways to do things better. The dealership is known for its world-class customer service, recently installing a nine-hole putting green for customers while they wait for their vehicles to be serviced.
When not attending the many philanthropic events the dealership supports, Jim enjoys boating, fine dining, sporting events and time with his family.
